DBR SHINE N BLAKBURN
Shiner is an AQHA GRULLO REG. COLT,  SHINER WAS GELDED ON OCTOBER 29th, 2018, he happens to
be 3/4 brother to last years DBR BLACKBURN SHINES.  He is going to be the same build/grullo color, only
difference he does have two back socks, which still this
GELDING will be the same as Fancy we sold. He is
shedding out his color, same as fancy did.  He is a a fancy well bred GELDING, look at his shed out color below,
looks just like fancy his sister, last years GRULLA FILLY, out of same sire, and dam is closely related, Smoke
this stallion really throws his disposition to his off spring, so easy to work. We have had 3 foals out of him. For
sale spring 2019. Foaled April 5th, 2018. Shiner had his hooves trimmed 1/17/2019 by our farrier, he did good.

Only difference Shiner does have two back white socks and a tiny tiny white
forehead marking!  The white socks makes no difference to us.  WE have
grullas every single year, but we do go by the dispositions on our
foals/weanlings more then anything. Been a long summer with my broken
bones in my left foot on my ankle, now winter is here 2019 and winter in Iowa

All pictures below were taken by Monica in the indoor arena, on August 25th, 2018, I have
them weaning, and starting on leading and just interaction.  Color gets off, as we have full
length sky lights and it depends where I do take the pic, once outside it will be nice!

Click on Shiners name above top for 5 generation pedigree.  One thing I do,
do, is put new pictures on all the time as they grow and mature, they really
change so much.  I have had a lot of people thank me for that, WELCOME!

Did I mention I am an avid picture
taker of my horses!  These pics on
down from here are taken Oct. 2nd.,
2018, soon we will be cold!  53 &
windy on this day.  Shiner will change
his color, as he is already getting
winter hair, he will be like his sister
fancy, I left her page up, check it out
All these pictures on down
were taken December 9th,
2018, Shiner was just laying
down, and it was 27
degrees, so my hands were
freezing!  It depends where
I tie him in the barn as for
his color, in person he is a
looker, but I try and take
pics every month of all my
four coming yearlings to
show their growth, and this
boy is GROWING.  He has
the leg barring and ear
barring and shoulder
barring, and now gelded, our
vet came out and did 3 of
them.  He is in full winter
coat, plus a bit of shavings I
couldn't get off!!!  Oh well
just keeping up. Indoor pics
are not showing his real
color he is, he is now in my
other barn, not my indoor
arena. I still post, look at
his fall pics outside.
This is Shiners real color that shows up
outside that same day, inside under the
lights isn't bringing out his true color, he
is here with solano, December 9, 2018
We just put for sale on our yearlings
March 13th, 2019, but I have not
advertised them on line yet, here in
Iowa we still have a bit of snow on
the ground, slowly our temps are
warming, slowly!  They are for sale,
and all worked with, I will not have
them on line till it warms up for good!
Shiner in FULL WINTER
COAT, he now is a BIG
boy and gorgeous color,
Waiting for better weather
here to get new pics.  He
has blossomed now!
